I bought the SD 1000 because I wanted a small point and shoot with good resolution, and enough versa
Pros: Fits in shirt pocket. Good battery life.
Cons: Prone to lens damage. Not a very durable lens mechanism.
The Bottom Line: Great camera while it lasts. Positives far outweigh all but one negative - which is the dreaded "lens error."

Pros: Quality made in Japan, a rarity these days. Small Good battery life Convenient Small Charger Attractive Sturdy
Cons: Confusing menus and controls Battery door is difficult to open OEM case is inconvenient No image stabilization

Cons: Too many glitches, Lens errors, and poor customer service
The Bottom Line: It's a great camera if you're looking forward to buying another in a year. Not for someone who is looking for a camera with a lifetime of use!

This camera takes amazing pictures! The zoom is wonderful and the focus goes right to the the thing
Pros: Easy upload on to computers. Easy to use for any age.
Cons: Very delicate when dropped. Easily scratched.
