AuctionSHARK Search Results Grow
AuctionSHARK now allows users to Find, Compare & Buy
from more than 30 online auction and shopping sites.
CASTLE ROCK, CO - June 1, 2006 - After a successful
launch in August of 2005, The Auction Shark, LLC (AuctionSHARK) has dramatically
expanded its multi-site search at www.auctionshark.com.
AuctionSHARK is currently searching over 75 million listings from more than 30 online
auction and shopping sites.
In addition to returning real-time results from popular auction sites eBay (www.ebay.com),
Yahoo Auctions (auctions.yahoo.com) and
Overstock Auctions (auctions.overstock.com),
AuctionSHARK also searches popular online stores. Amazon (www.amazon.com)
and Buy.com (www.buy.com) were included early on,
and some of the most recent additions include Best Buy (www.bestbuy.com),
Old Navy (www.oldnavy.com), Wal-Mart (www.walmart.com),
KB Toys (www.kbtoys.com) and CompUSA (www.compusa.com).
"Giving users the ability to compare real time auction listings with online stores
clearly helps Buyers shop smarter," said Michael Zak, a Principal at AuctionSHARK.
"Not only can Buyers be sure they're getting the best price, but by including auctions,
users can more easily find and compare collectibles, and other hard-to-find or high
demand items that can't be found on traditional shopping comparison websites."
Users that register for a free AuctionSHARK account can set up their own automated
searches, so they receive an email every time an item is listed that matches their
search. Registered users also can set up their own personal watch lists, which can
include multiple items from any of the different sites AuctionSHARK searches.
AuctionSHARK is currently in development with the next generation of their service,
which includes a more powerful and extensive search, additional buyer tools, and
a new and improved look and feel to the site.
